The Crofton Elk's are holding
their yearly charity event on 18 Feb, and will be supporting two
charities with this event. The good news is that one of their
charities is the Hospice of Chesapeake, the great news is that WE
(Greater Baltimore Area Coast Guard Spouse Association) are their
other charity!!!!
This event is a dinner and a dance
$30 per person. (Right after Valentine's Day - you could make a
night of it - LOL!) If you are interested in attending, please
mail your check or call 301-261-3260 (this will be someone from the
Elk's organization).

How
WE Make a Difference:
Our
group recently sponsored military and underprivileged children on a trip
to Carnegie Hall to play where they would otherwise never have this
opportunity of a lifetime. Together, the CGSA, CPOA, and other
dedicated organizations donated funds to make sure these children were
able to attend.. "Our Kids" joined with the North Park
Middle School Band who is also comprised of inner city children and
children from the Boys and Girls Club. Below is a photo of the
event. Our sponsored kids are at the far right back.
