S. tongwensis (S 6) 1947 (B. Burtt) The light blue, medium size flowers and are found from 8 to 14 flowers per flower stalk. The pointed, hairy leaves are longer than wide, may have a pale yellow-green midrib and usually have a red underside. The plants grow as a single crown and may reach a size of 10 to 12 inches in diameter.
