K8GVK is not a "store bought call" but my original call from 1956.
EX: CN8FX from Sidi Slimane, Morocco. This was my call when operating in 1963 when I was with the USAF. One of the first SSB stations on the air from Morocco so lots of action. The rig was the Collins KWS-1 transmitter and a 75A4 receiver plus an 11 element log periodic at 80 feet. No problem working the world...... ANYTIME! I regret not having the photos anymore.
Present QTH is Williamston, Michigan (42'.41'N-84'.16'W)is located 15 miles east of the capitol city of Lansing in South Central part of the state. (Ingham County)(Grid EN72)
