“HOMEGROWN  MEDIA”  IS  HERE !!!!

“Towns End~Live”

A new TV show originating in Port Townsend.

The next “Towns End~Live” will tape Thursday, September 25th at 7 pm at The UpStage.  Featured artists will be George Rezendes and TBA.

George Rezendes is one of Port Townsend’s not so very well kept secrets.  You can find him on Saturday afternoons, tucked into the little shop upstairs at Crossroads Music, mending our souls by making our treasures playable once again.  Besides being a great picker and singer, George is an adept Luthier.  He once told me he traded his dog’s soul to the Devil for his chops, but I don’t believe it.  He loves the dog too much and he got his chops the old-fashioned way; he practiced.  You will be hard-pressed to sit still when George starts cookin’ the blues and ragtime.  Great guitar, great vocals and a show you definitely don’t want to miss.

Although TBA will astound you with their musical abilities, they are a bit shy.  Stay tuned for more info about this wonderful group.

There are many songs (sound bites and whole songs) from the CD on the site now.  "The Storm" is the story of the 2nd coming of the Ghost Riders.  "The Old Songwriter" is a song I wrote that talks about having to absorb the world to write about it.  “Angelina’s Face” is the story of an angel who lives on the mountain and rescues lost souls.  “Texas Train” is a fun little tune written on the endless drive across West Texas, about trains and reincarnation.  Also 2 new songs coming out on the next CD are previewed here.  They are “Winds of Wyoming” and “The Nightguard’s Lament”. These two cuts were recorded at Hunter Records’ studio in Gillette,WY with the Razor City Wranglers. Just click on the link Listen to Jack’s Music and select Listen for the song you’d like.
