Fellowship Activities

The community of Dimondale is sponsoring a Soup and Salad Fundraiser for Village Florist Owner, Deb Ottinger, on Saturday, January 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Great Room. Deb was stricken with inflammation of the spinal cord, which rendered her unable to work and in the hospital for an extended period of time. Deb does not have health insurance and is in need of community support. Anyone who would like to help by providing a salad or soup or donating an item for the silent auction may contact Lori Conarton (243-1021) or Denise Parisian (646-0230). Tickets are on sale for $8 before the luncheon or $10 at the door. Thanks for the support of the members of the First Presbyterian Church.

Member Care Team

The Member Care Ministry Team is revamping the prayer chain structure.  All current members will remain on the chain, but we want to expand it to reach further into the congregation.  This is important because the power of prayer is magnificent and the more of us praying to the Holy Father for healing, strength, thanksgiving, support, comfort, etc; the greater our voice will be.  Even if you are gone part of the year, there is a place for you.  If you have email, we will keep you informed, and if not, your place will be temporarily adjusted to the next person on the list.  Please let Shirley Watson know as soon as possible if you want to be added to the chain.  We’d like to have the new structure in place soon.

Knittin for Jesus

We have plenty of yarn! Feel free to help yourself and knit afghan squares, hats, mittens, gloves, scarves. Homes will be found for all of it in this cold weather. There are templates for afghan squares; there are teddy bear patterns for the bears that police use in accidents for little children. If you need a hat or mitten pattern, let me know, and I'd be happy to get you one. Thanks and keep knitting! ( Or crocheting too.) Beth Everson

So check out the basket of yarn in the Great Room or contact Beth Everson to learn more about how you can use your stitching talents and time to God’s service one stitch at a time.

Windsor Township Retirees

The Windsor Township Retirees meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 12:00 noon for a potluck dinner and program.  All retirees age 55 and older are invited to come and join in the fun and fellowship.  The Windsor Township Ambulance Crew offers free blood pressure checks.
