Top: Two noteworthy and memorable teachers,
Harry (Bud) Curry and his wife Kathryn (O'Donnell)
Curry. Bud, (6'4", Villanova Football, Ex-FBI) taught
'Problems of Democracy' to Seniors. Mrs. Curry (and we
never called her anything but), taught Senior English,
Shakespeare and Latin. A tall, silver-haired beauty, she was
a walking definition of pedagogical elegance! There was no
nonsense in either's classes. Although I finally went on into
engineering physics, these two teachers had a pronounced influence
on my education. For McAdoo's small size, the town fielded
a professional, serious, and learned group of high school
teachers, much like these two.
